Now that two giant telcos in the country has announced the availability of the Samsung Galaxy S4, we thought of giving you a better look at Smart and Globe’s postpaid offerings to help you decide if ever you’re interested in getting one.
We had an early preview of the Samsung Galaxy S4 ahead of the public launch this evening but was under NDA so we couldn’t publish it ahead of the announcement. Here’s what we got from the 30-minute or so hands-on of the Galaxy S4.
There’s ben a lot of debate regarding the iPhone 5 offerings between Smart and Globe. While we made our initial analysis earlier, we dug a little deeper to give you a bigger and more comprehensive picture of what you’re getting from both telcos.

In a surprise move by Smart, the telco has suddenly increased its bandwidth cap for the Smart LTE Plan 3500 from a measly 10GB to a generous 21GB.

A lot of people that heard about Globe’s Cloudfone had the impression that it was developed to compete with Smart Netphone. Well, I think that’s as believable as the idea that Globe got the Samsung Galaxy S2 to compete with the Smart Netphone 701.
