Got a sample SmartBro Prepaid Kit last week from Smart for review. I was about to buy my own kit before this got in so I'm putting this one out to the stress test until I finally make the purchase. So, what's inside the box? Well, nothing much really. You'll get the basic stuff -- a Smart SIM card, the USB dongle, a short mini-USB cable, the installation CD, another split USB cable and a small pocket manual. The SIM card (0929 prefix) is pre-loaded with Php30 of credits. You can add more credit via e-Load or by using scratchable…

Recently bought this Sapido Mobile 3G Router so I can compare it with the SmartBro Share-It WiFi router I use in my car and see which one makes for a better mobile internet set-up. For about a year now since I got the SmartBro Share-It, it has found its place inside my car wherever I go around the city. I tried bringing it up north on long trips and it was still working in Bulacan and down south, as far as Sta. Rosa. We even manage to make it work until the end of the South Luzon Expressway. The problem…

However, I've been having problems with it lately (slow connection to no connection at times). I was looking for a secondary DSL service in my area to serve as backup…
