Acer has finally introduced its Macbook Air counterpart with the Acer Aspire S3 ultrabook -- a 1.3cm super-thin laptop. Computex: Intel’s new Ultrabook Concepts

Intel's booth here at the Computex is full of ultrabooks in their concept stage. Some are familiar, like the Zenbook, but most others are just totally new to us. Last night, Samsung Philippines launched their 2nd-generation ultrabooks with the latest Intel Ivy Bridge processors. They also showcased a 15-inch Series 9 ultrabook and a 13-inch super-affordable Series 5 ultrabook (under Php30k). Incidentally, we've actually seen these ultrabooks a couple of weeks ago in the floors of the Computex. Asus has just announced the Asus Taichi -- a combination of the thin-ness and form-fator of the Zenbook ultrabook and a full HD Windows 8 tablet. Imagine the Zenbook Prime with all its glory.
