YugaTech Reader Survey Results

As promised, I am sharing some of the results of our recent survey (as well as the winners in the raffle to those who left their email addresses). We got 446 filtered submissions and here’s the breakdown of the survey.

As expected, we have a majority of male readers at 86.55% while the female readers were just 13.45%. We also had an overwhelming 97% of the respondents indicated they are from the Philippines.

The age spread is pretty telling with around 80% of the total respondents between the age of 18 to 35.

Around 64% of the respondents are employed, 18% are students and 13% are self-employed. A surprising 44% are also in the IT industry.

Again, thanks to everyone who joined in our survey.

As a token, I am sending gifts to 10 respondents. I will email them individually but here’s a hint of who those lucky 10 are:

1. RC Despojo
2. JC Baquiran
3. Denmark Marcelo
4. Cristy Jardin
5. Allen Lucanas
6. Renato Ferrer Jr.
7. Kinny Salas
8. Hindi Ako Virus
9. Ivy Khristine Santos
10. Nomer Mendoza

(Note: I just guessed the names based on their emails. With some that I can’t decipher, I just placed the email handle instead.)

Emails will be dispatched tomorrow and I will allow you to pick your prizes. Thanks again to everyone!
