That didn’t take too long. Just a couple of weeks after Sun Cellular offered unlimited 3G internet at Php50 per day, Smart has also come up with the same with Unli Surf 50.
Check out the following daily, weekly and monthly rates.
That’s Php50 for 24 hours, Php300 for 1 week (7 days) or Php1,200 for a month (30 days). You activate this plan by visiting m.smart.com.ph/surf on your mobile phone.
However, it looks like internet access is only limited to your mobile phone. I have yet to test it while tethering to the laptop (still checking it now, will update this post later).
Compare this to Smart’s existing SmartBro Plug-it Postpaid which costs Php1,500 a month, the Unli Surf offer looks cheaper.
The previous Surf Plans (Php20/hour) and Web Unli Plans (Php20/day/site unlimited) are still available.
@buknoy
muzta speed ng plan 999 plug it?
dito ako sta maria ngaun walang 3g signal normal signal lang wahhhhhhhhhhhh
jaize nope at least may piso kang load para maka punta ka sa smart homepage…
@vince
999/30 = 33.3 pesos / day
@Jaize
Bob: i think mabagal daw tlga ang brodband… bat in my case cp gamit ko ang signal nya 3.5g mabilis sya… use ur phone as modem na lang…. mas mabilis sya.. for more details in your phone browser goto http://smart.com.ph/surf
I just tried Smart Bro Prepaid here in Pulilan, Bulacan. It was so slow. Check this Speedtest result: http://www.speedtest.net/result/647312044.png
to cutemoboy, may i know the fone you’re using to connect to internet via sun sbw50..
WHATEVER yaya.
halos pareho lang sya dba?… pag uuntugin ko kau e! ang kunti ng deprensya! if u prefer a week subscription or a day nasa sa inyo yan mga ogag!
@sprakanitezz
P50 unli internet per day x 7 days = P350 for 7 days
P300 one week unli internet / 7 days = P42.86 per day
ano mas tipid? TSK TSK TSK Lol
@ sprakanitezz if you get 300/week, the effective rate per day will only be P43/day (300/7). Thanks
You can use skype video call both on wifi and 3G using fring. It’s a 3rd party app works on symbian OS and i think even on iphone. try m.fring.com on your mobile browser to download, it’s free. You can even auto link your facebook and twitter accounts.
sakin mabilis ung downloading ng mga websites using n5800
captain_b : papanu kaya naging matipd ang 300 a week na web unli e 50 a day web unli if you convert it to a week almost 300 din ang gastos! TSK TSK TSK Lol
tried this today. seems slow using iphone, but very fast when inserted to my usb modem. faster than my bayantel dsl.
@sprakanitezz yup that was developed for heavy single site users. If you want to have unlimited access on all sites, then try UNLI Surf instead of WEB Unli Surf. You can try 300/week since its cheaper than P50/day. Thanks
to captain_b… so meaning yang daily surf na 20 peso is for facebook lang? PANGIT dito na lang ako sa 50 unli na sya for all sites? tamaba
@ sprakanitezz P20/day unlimited is our per site rate specifically for heavy users of facebook, friendster, twitter, plurk and multiply. If you visit m.smart.com.ph/surf now, you can also enroll to INQ, TMZ, EYP (Yellow Pages), Photobucket, Flickr and Wikipedia.
