Listen to article

Amazon has unveiled a new Echo Studio smart speaker at its fall 2025 hardware event, calling it the company’s “most advanced and best-sounding Echo ever.”

The updated Studio is 40% smaller than the original 2019 model and features three full-range drivers, a custom woofer, spatial audio, and Dolby Atmos support. Amazon has also moved the light ring to the front for better visibility.

Powered by the new AZ3 Pro chip, the speaker supports state-of-the-art language models and vision transformers, enabling more advanced Alexa interactions. It can also be paired with up to five Studio or Echo Dot Max speakers alongside Fire TV devices for an “Alexa Home Theater” surround sound system.

The new Echo Studio is priced at $219.99 ( PHP 12,835 ), with pre-orders open now and shipments starting October 29. In the U.S., it will also include early access to Alexa Plus, Amazon’s AI-powered upgrade to Alexa.
