Listen to article

Lava has officially launched the SHARK 2 4G, the latest addition to its budget-friendly Shark lineup. It serves as the successor to the original Shark released earlier this year.

The new SHARK 2 4G sports a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD panel with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, making it one of the few sub-Rs. 7,000 phones to offer such a display. Under the hood, it’s powered by the UNISOC T7250 chip paired with 4GB RAM (plus 4GB virtual) and 64GB storage, expandable up to 2TB.

It runs Android 15 out of the box and is promised one major Android update plus two years of security patches. For optics, it features a 50MP rear camera and 8MP selfie shooter. Powering the device is a 5000mAh battery with 18W USB-C charging.

Priced at Rs. 6,999 ( PHP4,675 ), the SHARK 2 4G will hit Lava retail stores this October in Eclipse Grey and Aurora Gold.
