Lava is back with a bang. After dropping the Bold N1 4G earlier this year, the brand just unveiled its 5G variant in India, the Lava Bold N1 5G. This budget-friendly smartphone packs a smooth 90Hz display, IP54 dust and splash resistance, and a clean Android 15 experience, all starting at only Rs 7,499.

Up front, you’re getting a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 20:9 aspect ratio. Powering the device is the Unisoc T765 5G chipset, paired with 4GB RAM plus an additional 4GB virtual RAM. Storage options include 64GB and 128GB, expandable up to 1TB via microSD.
The 5,000mAh battery supports 18W fast charging, although Lava only ships a 10W adapter in the box. For cameras, there’s a 13MP main sensor with 4K video at 30fps, plus a secondary sensor, while selfies are handled by a 5MP front cam.
Other key highlights: Android 15 out-of-the-box, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, USB-C, 3.5mm jack, and IP54 protection. Lava is also promising one major Android update and two years of security patches.
