Huawei announces Media Pad 2 tablet

Aside from the Honor 6X, the company has also announced a new tablet under their Media Pad line of Android slates.

The Honor Media Pad 2 sports an 8-inch IPS LCD with a Full HD resolution. It runs on Snapdragon 616 octa-core chipset with 3GB of RAM. Storage-wise, it comes in two variants at 16GB or 32GB. An 8MP main camera and 2MP selfie camera is onboard too. There's a SIM-enabled version that adds telephony and LTE connectivity. The slate has Android Marshmallow with EMUI 4.1 on top.

سيتم إطلاق السليت في الصين في 25 أكتوبر مع بدء الطلبات المسبقة في 19 من الشهر نفسه. يبدأ سعر النسخة Wi-Fi فقط من 999 يوان صيني (~Php7,200) لـ 16GB و 1,299 يوان صيني (~Php9,300) لـ 32GB. النسخة LTE مع سعة تخزين 32GB تُباع بسعر 1,499 يوان صيني (~Php10,700). يمكن للمستهلكين الاختيار بين اللونين الذهبي أو الأبيض.
