Aside from the Honor 6X, the company has also announced a new tablet under their Media Pad line of Android slates.
The Honor Media Pad 2 sports an 8-inch IPS LCD with a Full HD resolution. It runs on Snapdragon 616 octa-core chipset with 3GB of RAM. Storage-wise, it comes in two variants at 16GB or 32GB. An 8MP main camera and 2MP selfie camera is onboard too. There’s a SIM-enabled version that adds telephony and LTE connectivity. The slate has Android Marshmallow with EMUI 4.1 on top.

The slate will launch in China on October 25th with pre-orders starting on the 19th. Pricing for the Wi-Fi only version starts at CNY 999 (~Php7,200) for 16GB and CNY 1,299 (~Php9,300) for 32GB. The LTE version with 32GB storage is priced at CNY 1,499 (~Php10,700). Consumers can choose between Gold or White colors.
