Q Acoustics M3 Soundbar First Impressions

Those who spend hours in front of the TV know that sound quality is a very important factor if you want to have a good experience, especially when binge-watching movies and TV series. That said, there are times when your TV’s built-in speakers are not enough, and one of the most recommended solutions for that is to get a good-sounding soundbar. One example is the Q Acoustics M3 Soundbar.

The Q Acoustics M3 is a fine-looking soundbar that will compliment the sleek designs of the TVs in the market. It’s wide with a modern-looking design which makes it more pleasing to look at than the generic box-looking soundbars of other brands.

The build is made from a combination of plastic and metal. The speaker meshes and stand are made of metal, while the rest of the body, including the buttons, are of high-quality plastic with a matte finish.

The front is mostly covered by a metal mesh to protect the speakers while the Q Acoustics badge is placed in the middle. Up top are three buttons for the power (illuminated) and volume. Also located here is the NFC for easy pairing with NFC-enabled smartphones.

At the back is the dedicated button for the Bluetooth and some holes to accommodate a wall bracket. Also found here are the ports for HDMI, Line In, Optical In, USB, switches for the EQ, and AC power port.

Setup is pretty easy as you just need to plug it to your TV via HDMI (cable included). Bluetooth pairing is also convenient as you can use NFC or do it manually by selecting it inside your device’s settings. There’s a remote included as well so you won’t have problems controlling it from afar.

As for sound quality, we’re satisfied with the sound and is loud enough to fill an entire room without having to turn up to volume to max. Treble is crisp while bass is boomy. We also enjoyed streaming our music to it via Bluetooth, and if your device supports Qualcomm aptX audio, the M3 can take advantage of it as well.
