Gateway ZX2300 All-in-One Desktop

Listen to article

Gateway is gunning at the all-in-one PC market and wants to out-spec the Asus Eee Top with its own 18.5″ ZX2300 All-in-One desktop PC.

With a retail price of Php27,995 (PCCorner), the 18.5″ Gateway ZX2300 is cheaper than the 15.6″ Asus Eee Top ET16 (Php32,800).

gateway zx2300

18.5″ 16:9 LCD display screen (1366×768 pixel)
AMD Athlon 2650 1.6GHz
1GB DDR2 SDRAM
160 GB 7200rpm HDD
16X DVD+RW SuperMulti-Drive
ATI X1200 graphics
10-in-1 card reader
VGA webcam
10/100 LAN,
WiFi 802.11b/g
5x USB 2.0 ports

Comes with Windows XP Home as basic OS. I wonder how the 1.6GHz Athlon 2650e fares against the regular Atom N270 with the same clock speed.

wow desktops with the smallest possible footprints are gradually becoming a trend now…

hope those slim tops get enough power like the regular desktops do

for the meantime, let us all keep our eyes peeled…

A very nice desktop except the price. With this price at hand, I will prefer to buy a laptop with the same price but of a little higher specification.
