Listen to article

The Land Bank of the Philippines (LandBank) will stop charging fees for InstaPay and PESONet transfers starting July 7, 2026. The move allows LandBank and Overseas Filipino Bank clients to send money to other banks for free through the two digital payment services.

In a recent advisory, LandBank said it will also remove fees for retail payments and person-to-government transactions made through QRPh. The bank said the change is part of its effort to make digital banking more affordable and easier to use for more Filipinos.

According to LandBank President and Chief Executive Officer Lynette Ortiz, expanding its zero-fee digital services aims to help workers, small business owners, and overseas Filipinos save money on their daily transactions.

Ortiz also said the bank remains focused on keeping its digital platforms secure, reliable, and accessible. She added that removing transfer fees will allow clients to stay connected with their families and businesses without paying extra charges for online transactions.

The free transfer service covers transactions made through InstaPay and PESONet, which are widely used for sending funds between different banks in the country. Customers can start using the zero-fee service beginning Tuesday, July 7.

LandBank is among the banks that have recently announced free interbank fund transfers as more financial institutions continue to expand their digital banking services.
