Riot Games is expanding its presence in Southeast Asia and plans to open localized offices, including the Philippines, to bring the company closer to gamers.

In a report by ABS-CBN, head of country operations of Riot Games – Asia Pacific, Shinji Komiyama, told the press that they are working to open the office in a few months. Joel Guzman will be the country manager of Riot Games operations in the Philippines.
Aside from the Philippines, will also open offices in India, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand, in addition to the existing offices in Japan and Singapore.
Alec Kraynov, managing director of Riot Games SEA said that Southeast Asia has the potential to become the biggest region in the world for the company due to its diversity.
Justin Hulog, general manager of Riot Games SEA and Taiwan said that Southeast Asia played a critical role in how the company thinks about growth and its players in the region.
Riot Games, Inc. is an American video game developer, publisher and esports tournament organizer, known for games like League of Legends and Valorant.
