DICT establishes a program for IT certification

Listen to article

In order to provide Filipinos with industry-relevant skills for in-demand IT positions, the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) has teamed with Google Asia Pacific and Coursera to develop the Google Career Certificate Program (GCCP).

Free online courses in important ICT topics, including as cybersecurity, data analytics, IT support, and more, are available through the GCCP. In order to increase their adaptability in the tech sector, participants can obtain several qualifications and change courses as necessary.

This program is a component of DICT’s larger endeavors to improve the nation’s ICT skills, offering Filipinos all around the country easily accessible educational possibilities. DICT seeks to close the skills gap and get the local workforce ready for the changing digital world by working with international tech giants.

Those interested in learning more about the GCCP and other online ICT courses can visit the official DICT website.
