Torneo DotA 2 International está programado para comenzar la próxima semana y el premio total ha alcanzado un récord de 787 millones de pesos filipinos al momento de cerrar esta edición.

Este es el premio más alto en la historia de los torneos internacionales de DotA 2 desde que comenzaron hace varios años. Esta cantidad aún podría aumentar, ya que falta una semana para que comience el torneo.

El premio solía estar financiado únicamente por Valve, pero esto ha cambiado para incluir compromisos de los fans de DotA a través del "compendio" digital, que los fans podían comprar para seguir el evento y contribuir al fondo de premios. El año pasado, el fondo alcanzó los 491 millones de pesos filipinos, con el campeón, el equipo Newbee, obteniendo 225 millones de pesos.

Un total de 16 equipos se enfrentarán entre sí del 3 al 8 de agosto. El torneo se llevará a cabo en Seattle, Washington, Estados Unidos.

Naglalaro ko ng dota since wc3 pa (dota 1 sa pinoy) hangan naun. Pero nakatapos ako at nagtatrabaho sa isang bank dito sa makati. Sigurado ako nde lang ako ang may mgandang trabaho kahit adik sa dota. Kaya manahimik ka jan archie. Lakas ng loob mo magsalita ng ganyan porket anonymous ka sa internet. Ayusin mo buhay mo.

Sige lang mga bata ubusin nyo ang mahalagang oras sa dota. Magdamag kayo sa internet cafe para pag nalaos na yung laro e magjanitor o bagboy kayo sa puregold. Ok na din na dumami ang malulong sa dota para konti na lang ang pipila sa interview ng mga HR sa makati at ortigas.

Bakit ako maiinggit? Pinupush ko pa nga ang mga bata na mag dota para mas marami ang magtrabaho sa mcdo at puregold. Pag mas maraming magdodota mas marami akong magiging casual employees. Mas panget ang record sa school mas may dahilan ako na wag bigyan ng increase.

Bakit masyado kang sarcastic? Di malalaos ang technology. There’s room for improvement and enhancement everyday. Baka ikaw ung magulat one day at wala ka ng trabaho since computerized/robot na ang gumagawa? Di ka naman nila inaano, why don’t you mind your own business? Yung iba jan suportado pa ng pamilya and you don’t have any rights to judge them. Get a life, please?

Robot papalit? Nasisiraan ka ng bait hindi mangyayari yan dahil lahat ay kayang gawin ng AI. Hindi ako mawawalan ng trabaho dahil ako ang nagbibigay ng trabaho at pabor sa akin ang dumami ang bumabagsak sa school dahil sa dota. Mga Philippine moba players talaga sobrang balat sibuyas. Kaya ayaw kayong kalaro sa global servers dahil sobra kayong pikon e. Iyak at depensa pa more.

di naman porket nag dodota/ adik sa dota mababa na performance sa school. bakit ako adik pa din ako sa dota pero succesful engineer na ko? haha

nakalimutan ata ni archie na hindi lahat ng successful ay nakatapos ng pagaaral. Diskarte na ang labanan ngayon, kung nakatapos ka nga pero kulang ka sa diskarte dun ka sa kangkungan pupulutin.

Uhm, Dota 2 player here, since High School. And till now sa work ko I consider myself successful. So di ko alam kung anung pinuputok ng bucchi mo, nasa tao lang yan.
