ASUS recently launched in the Philippines its latest laptops powered by the latest 11th Generation Intel Mobile Processors, the VivoBook 14 and ZenBook 13. While we’re waiting to get our hands on these new devices, let’s do a quick run-through of its features.
ASUS Philippines launched these new laptops just in time to celebrate its 11th year in the country.
“The celebration of our 11th year in the Philippines is one marked with one milestone after another. We carry this strong momentum from the third quarter of the year when we hit our record-high market share, which was then followed by recently being recognized by globally-renowned Laptop Magazine as the Number 1 PC brand for 2020 in the world. And now, we take pride in being the first solution for Filipinos who are looking for the most premium and productive computing experience available right now in the market,” said ASUS Philippines’ long-time Country Head, Mr. George Su.
“Our newest ASUS ZenBook 13 UX325 and ASUS VivoBook S14 S433 are, in fact, the Philippines’ first laptops to carry the much-talked-about 11th Gen Intel Processors. Both new laptops cater to different markets and segments, ultimately highlighting that there is indeed an ASUS laptop perfect for all your needs.”

Let’s start with the VivoBook 14. It comes in two models: S433EQ with Intel Core i7-1165G7 CPU and GeForce MX350 graphics; S433EA with Intel Core i5-1135G7 with Intel Iris Xe graphics. All with 8GB of RAM and 512GB SSD.
It’s a stylish ultrabook designed for young professionals, with its diamond-cut edges, textured finish, and four color options: Indie Black, Gaia Green, Resolute Red, and Dreamy White. ASUS even gave the Enter key a yellow accent and included stickers to help you personalize its looks.
The VivoBook S14 features an all-metal chassis that measures 15.9mm thin so it can easily slide inside a backpack. At 1.4kg, it’s also easy to carry around.
Open the lid, and you will see the 14-inch Full HD Frameless NanoEdge display with an 85% screen-to-body ratio. If you’re the type who dislikes thick bezels, then you’ll enjoy the VivoBook S14. Add to that the ASUS SonicMaster stereo audio system with surround-sound so that you can binge on Netflix after work.
Below the display is a full-size backlit keyboard with 1.4mm key travel. We also have a precision touchpad that supports four-finger smart gestures and intelligent palm-rejection. Typing should be more comfortable thanks to the ErgoLift hinge.
For connectivity, we have Intel WiFi 6 with Gig+ performance, Bluetooth 5.0, a Thunderbolt 4 USB-C port, USB 3.2 Type-A port, two USB 2.0 ports, an HDMI port, audio combo jack, and a microSD card reader.
Powering the whole thing is a 50Wh 3-cells lithium-polymer battery with support for fast charging.
Next, we have the ASUS ZenBook 13 for on-the-go professionals who value mobility in addition to productivity. It features an all-metal design that measures 13.9mm thin and weighs in at 1.11kg.
It comes in two colors: Pine Grey for a more professional and serious look, and Lilac Mist for those who prefer a charming and sophisticated look. Both models feature the classic ZenBook spun-metal finish.
The ZenBook 13 sports a 13.3-inch Full HD NanoEdge display with an 88% screen-to-body ratio for a more immersive viewing experience. Pair to that the ASUS SonicMaster stereo audio system with surround-sound certified by Harman Kardon and array microphone for clearer audio in video calls.
For the keyboard, it’s a full-size backlit with an edge-to-edge design and 1.4mm key travel. The trackpad is glass-covered and features the NumberPad for tasks that require some number crunching. It also supports intelligent palm-rejection and four-finger gestures.
In terms of biometrics, the ZenBook 13 has a 3D IR HD camera with Windows Hello support. Connectivity-wise, two Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports, a USB 3.2 Type-A, an HDMI port, a microSD card reader, WiFi 6, and Bluetooth 5.0.
Powering the ZenBook 13 is an Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor, Intel Iris Xe graphics, 8GB RAM, 512GB SSD, and a 67Wh 4-cell lithium-polymer battery.
