Alleged Samsung Galaxy A55, A35 renders emerge online

Samsung just launched the Galaxy A15 5G and Galaxy A25 5G in the Philippines last January. Now, the South Korean giant seems to be already gearing up for the upcoming release of its upper midrange lineup: the Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35 16.

Tipster Evan Blass (@evleaks) on X shared the phones’ official-looking renders, revealing their familiar, Samsung-coded design. The phones come in almost the same gradient color options, but determining which model is which is challenging as both are likely the same size.

What’s interesting is the near-identical bezels, with the chin slightly extending more but appearing equal from afar. On the sides, both models now bear the so-called ‘Key Island’ design — introduced in the Galaxy A15, A25 — which adds a bit of protrusion around the volume rocker and power buttons.

Additionally, the new models will have water resistance as seen from one of the renders, and of course, Samsung’s mobile security platform Knox.

Moving on to their expected specs, 91mobiles claims both the Galaxy A55 and A35 will sport the same 6.5-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display, which explains the difficulty in differentiating them. They will also support a 120Hz refresh rate and come equipped with Gorilla Glass 5 for added protection.

In terms of processors, the Galaxy A55 will reportedly pack an in-house Exynos 1480 chip, while the A35 will utilize the Exynos 1380.

Camera-wise, the A55 is rumored to feature a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 5-megapixel macro lens.

Both phones are likely to sport a 32-megapixel selfie shooter, a 5000mAh battery with 25W fast charging capabilities.
