कैमरों की बात करें तो POCO X6 Pro में त्रिक-पश्च कैमरा सेटअप है जिसमें ऑप्टिकल इमेज स्थिरीकरण के साथ 64MP मुख्य कैमरा, 8MP अति-विस्तृत और 2MP मैक्रो शामिल हैं।

It’s able to capture details on the subjects which I appreciate. The cameras shine when it comes to taking photos in well-lit environments, but quality does drop a little bit for dimmer places.

Colors come out a bit too saturated for my taste too. Skin tone comes out a bit too pale in times in the front camera whereas bright and vibrant shades are over-the-top when they're processed.

But hey, I’ve got to give it to POCO because it was fun taking shots and seeing the little details in photos and videos.

OS, Apps and UI

The POCO X6 Pro runs on Xiaomi’s HyperOS based on Android 14. It’s not too different from your usual MIUI interface so you won’t have a hard time when it comes to navigating around the device.

I would like to point out that it’s got a ton of bloatware which is pretty much expected of Xiaomi. Sure, you can uninstall them, but you’ve gotta take note of that when you first turn on the X6 Pro.

Still, I can’t be too upset with it as HyperOS has a lot of neat yet subtle features.

For one, you can now change the lockscreen fast by long pressing the screen. A menu will then pop up showcasing different themes that you can customize with your own photos.

Another thing it can do is cut out a subject in a photo provided that the subject is clear and focused on. Pretty neat if you want to edit your shots.

It’s also got an X-axis linear vibration motor, heart rate monitor, new split screen options and Second Space which is like having two phones in one device!

Second Space was available back in MIUI 10, but it’s nice that the HyperOS still kept this feature.

So, if you’re someone like me who wants a different space for work and personal life, you can simply swap to your Second Space profile which can have its own apps, passwords, and customization options

Do take note that multiple applications running will cause the phone to heat up. Second Space also drains a bit more of the X6 Pro’s battery life, but this takes me to my next topic - the battery.

Battery and Connectivity

The POCO X6 Pro runs on a 5,000mAh Li-Ion battery and comes with 67W Turbo Charging. It lasted almost a day without charging as when used in a combination of gaming, watching videos, going through social media, and taking photos.

You don't have to worry about long charging times either. Charging the device doesn’t take too long as it took around forty-five minutes to fully charge it from 20%. That's not bad, especially with all you can do with the device in almost a day.

Besides battery, it’s got dual-SIM card support, an IR blaster to use the X6 Pro as a remote control, and has support for Bluetooth 5.4, 5G, WiFi 6E, GPS and NFC.

In our PCMark's Battery Test, it got a score of 13 hours and 41 minutes. Our Video Loop test, meanwhile, got a result of 14 hours and 51 minutes. This is where we loop a 1080p video at 50% brightness with no audio and airplane mode on.

Conclusion

Overall, the POCO X6 Pro is a great device to have and use as a daily driver especially if you enjoy watching movies, shooting photos and videos, and playing games on your phone.

Just beware of the occasional heat up.

The POCO X6 Pro has a suggested retail price of Php 16,999 for the 8GB+256GB variant and Php 19,999 for the 12GB+512GB variant.
