Google Docs will soon allow users to select multiple sections of text

Google Docs is getting a handy feature in the ability to select and edit multiple sections of text.

With the ability the have multiple text selections in Google Docs, users will be able to select a bunch of words, paragraphs, and headings altogether without the need to do them separately.

Google Docs The feature will work as simply as selecting the text you want to edit. Then hold down the Control key on Windows or the Command Key on Mac whilst simultaneously selecting another chunk of text you want. Once you have selected the parts you wish, you can let go and change the formatting to whatever you want using the toolbar up top.

The feature would indeed come in handy when you want to change all your headings to a certain format or select specific words in your paragraph without having to do it multiple times. It may just be a small addition but it certainly will have a big impact on one’s productivity.
