Sky Cable’s mobile internet postpaid products called SkyMobi have been revamped with LTE connectivity and additional perks over its plans.

First announced in 2015, SkyMobi is providing mobile internet connection along with access to Sky on Demand channels starting at Php499. Here are the revamped plans:

The new ZTE pocket WiFi routers offer speeds of up to 42Mbps, which is a huge increase from its previously offered models which only stream at up to 12Mbps. Additional bandwidth can still be purchased at Php30 per 100MB or Php199 per 1.5GB.

SkyMobi also has a SIM-only postpaid plan for P350 that has 3GB monthly data allocation, as well as 500MB data for Sky On Demand, with a six-month lock-in period.

As per its disclaimer, free access to social media and messaging platforms will only be allocated with an 800MB mobile data. Once consumed, free access will be disabled and will be reset at 12:01 am the following day.

Sky On Demand will also depend on the user’s existing Sky Cable subscription to access networks and shows, or users will only have access to the ABS-CBN live stream and episodes of currently airing ABS-CBN shows if they do not have one. Users can also use the SIM card in a handset to send calls and SMS to ABS-CBN Mobile and other networks.

Sky Cable’s SkyMobi is now available at Sky Cable shops and accredited partners nationwide.
