Google Glass now on Play Store for $1,500

The elusive Google Glass is now listed in the Google Play Store for a retail price of $1,500. The listing is only limited to the US version of the Play Store though.

That means you won’t be able to access it if you’re outside the US (although there are still several ways to go around that restriction).

The item on sale is the Explorer Edition but buyers also get free frames and other accessories (earbuds, cases, etc) for every pair bought.

The $1,500 price tag is still too restrictive for regular consumers but as more people become interested in wearables and the demand grows, the pricing should eventually rationalize.
