Vertu, sebuah perusahaan yang merancang dan membuat ponsel yang hanya dipertimbangkan oleh orang super kaya yang tidak peduli pada spesifikasi, baru saja merilis Vertu Constellation baru yang harganya lebih dari seperempat juta.

The Constellation is what Vertu would describe as a "sleek contemporary design that embodies everything that Vertu believes in: tactile materials, outstanding engineering, hand craftsmanship and modern technology."

Berbicara tentang teknologi, perangkat ini memiliki layar 4,3 inci dengan resolusi 720p yang dipasang dengan lembar kristal safir 5,1 inci, kamera 13 megapiksel dengan lampu kilat LED, kamera depan 1,3 megapiksel, 32GB penyimpanan internal, dan dilengkapi WiFi, Bluetooth, serta NFC.

Powering the device is a 1.7Ghz dual-core Snapdragon S4 Pro CPU, Adreno 320 GPU, 1,800 mAh battery, and Android 4.2 Jellybean. All of those are housed in a body that is made of grade 5 titanium and swathed in luxurious calf leather.

mas maganda pa specs ng phone ko and it cost me less than Php 20k. this is really for pretentious people who are all about appearances.

Ang dami palang mga “technical writers” dito! Walang magawa. Maiba pa, dami ring nagsasabi na “kahit milyonaryo ako” hindi ko ‘yan bibilhin. Eh subukan niyo muna maging milyonaryo. Totoo nga mahal ang phone pero para sa mga may kaya ‘yan. Eh anong problema kung may pambili sila? Sa totoo lang, wala akong pambili nito pero wala naman akong masabi sa mga taong bibili nito. Kasi kaya nila. Para sa mga katulad ko diyan na walang pambili eh unahin nalang ang bigas! Putek nakaka praning basahin puro kayabangan at kagaguhan. May ibang comment dito na may “sense” kaya sana yung mga walang kwentang comment delete nalang o kaya wag nang mag post. Kasi I read yugatech araw araw na siyang kaya ko lang ma afford na pag libangan – at sa walang pagkakahiya kong inaamin, tapos ang comments niyo lang ang nakaksira nang aking araw. Naku naman.

@duterte hindi lang dahil gawang kamay ang mga bagay kaya nagiging mahal na…isang factor un pero kaya nagiging mahal ung mga handcrafted phones, bags, and even vehicles ay dahil talagang perpekto ang paggawa nila at xempre matagal na gawaan din yan….aanhin mo ang handcrafted na bagay kung di naman perpekto ang pagkakagawa hahaha

While the price is still sickeningly ridiculous, at least they’ve cut the diamond/gold-bling out and focused more on actual useful-but-expensive materials like the screen and the body. A bit skeptical of the leather though – that seems too much like an insulator which means it won’t do much good for the phone’s heat-venting capability.

ang masasabi ko lang dito ay hindi siya street wise. .kung bili ka nalang ng phone na tama lang sa need mo tapos ung sobra ibigay mo nalang sa mga mahihirap, mas marami pang aappreciate sau. .para saan ung “premiumness” ng phone kung marami kang makikitang tao na ni hindi nga makakain. .hindi porket marami kang pambili, may karapatan ka nang waldasin. .ang buhay ay di lang tungkol sa sarili kundi tungkol sa pagpapahalaga rin sa ibang kapos sa buhay. .drama noh? haha

Vertu has, and will always be out of reach to common folks like us. They hold the title of making the largest sapphire glass displays in the world and using rubies for the keypads and titanium for the bodies.

It could have been priced that way if it incorporated high specs. But it didn’t. Not 64mb, not 40+ up megapixels, high-end resolution etc…But then again it’s just the material that made it pricey…not the specs.

What kind of material Vertu Constellation made off and it’s costs more than a quarter-mil in our peso value. Is that made of gold, diamond or what. I’m really wondering. I think the only personalities to afford that for a mobile phone are those who cares nothing for money, because they don’t get to drift a sweat to have that. They just steal it from the masses. Politician will do I think, those crocks…

Basahin rin ang post pag may time. Ang chassis crafted in grade 5 titanium and sheet of Sapphire crystal. It is also “swathed in luxurious calf leather.” I think handcrafted lahat ng VErtu phones.

hindi ganun kadali ang pagpaplano nito…unlike mga iPhones at Samsung,etc. in few months after maannounce ang panibagong model makakapaglabas na agad sila ng final product na ipapalit 1 year after, kaya cguro mejo outdated na ung specs dahil sa tagal….tska wala namang pakialam ang mga buyers nito sa ganda ng specs kundi sa premiumness, as long as kaya nitong masatisfy ang buyer sa experience ok na

That’s me Antonio Escuadro, Filipino also but lives mostly in SanFo. At nandito sa pinas to visit my petron stations. I also have stores of cp in greenhills. Why, inggit ka at meron ako vertu ti, na nabili ko sa California ng 11k us dollars. Don’t be so ridiculously pinoy style, dahil ako businessman, chicken lang yun para sa mga nagtratrabaho araw at gabi, ikaw I don’t know if u have any sensible work at all, rather than being so envious of those who work so hard. Ngayon kung poor ka, fault mo dahil tamad ka, ganun lang yun.
