Listen to article

A month after its initial unveiling, the FUJIFILM X-E5 mirrorless camera has officially arrived in the Philippines.

The X-E5 follows the familiar compact form factor of its predecessors, now with an aluminum top plate for a more solid build. The camera comes in two colors: Black and Silver. It weighs 445 grams (with battery) and measures 4.9 x 2.9 x 1.5 inches.

At the back, users will find a 0.39-inch OLED electronic viewfinder (EVF) with a 2.36-million dot resolution and 0.62x magnification. Below it is a 3-inch, 1.04-million dot touchscreen LCD that tilts in three directions.

Powering the device is an NP-W126S lithium-ion battery rated for up to 310 shots per charge.

One notable addition is the dedicated Film Simulation dial, first seen on the X-T50. However, this time it’s placed under the top plate and visible through a small glass window resembling the film frame counters found in vintage cameras.
