The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has added GCash as a new way for drivers to pay traffic fines, MMDA Chairman Atty. Romando Artes announced on Friday. The payment option aims to make settling violations faster and more convenient.

Durán sa bingkôt ng agentryo sa Pasig, Artes tumaas na ipinahayag ang pagbabago sa "May Huli Ka" ng MMDA website. Ang platform na nangyari na makakamihang maaaring magpapahayag ng mga evidence ng kanilang pagkatao online, magparticipa sa e-contest, at makakatutulong sa isang dedicated portal para sa mga katanungan tungkol sa motor.

Artes said the changes are part of the MMDA’s effort to improve transparency and provide easier access to traffic information for drivers across Metro Manila. Motorists can now check fines, view related photos or videos, and pay using their mobile devices without visiting MMDA offices.

The agency encourages the public to use these online services to save time and ensure smooth processing of traffic penalties. The rollout of GCash payments and website upgrades is already in effect starting Friday.
