GPT-4, 500x more advanced than ChatGPT, now available

GPT-4, the successor to the current GPT3, is now available.

Touted as being 500 times more powerful than ChatGPT, GPT-4 will have the ability to create AI-generated videos from simple text commands.

ChatGPT creator Open-AI says that GPT-4 is its most advanced system that will be able to produce safer and more useful responses to its growing user base.

The current version of ChatGPT has about 175 Billion Machine Learning Parameters (ML parameters); while the new GPT-4 will have over 100 trillion ML parameters. This will allow GPT-4 to process different types of data — videos, images, sounds, numbers, and many more.

OpenAI says that GPT-4 surpasses ChatGPT in its advanced reasoning capabilities, outperforms ChatGPT by scoring in higher approximate percentiles among test-takers, and is 82% more likely to produce factual responses than GPT-3.5.

OpenAI has also collaborated with various organizations and companies to introduce products that integrate the AI system. Some of these companies and brands include Duolingo, Be My Eyes, Stripe, and Khan Academy.
