Lenovo S920 の実機、第一印象

数か月前、Lenovo S920がフィリピンに上陸し、価格は20千円以下でした。5.3インチIPS HDディスプレイ、クアッドコアCPU、1GB RAMなどを搭載し、サイズはわずか7.9mmです。最近、弊社オフィスに1台が届いたので、最初の印象をご紹介します。

At first glance, the Lenovo S920 did remind us a lot of the HTC One X. There's the 5.3-inch display with thin bezels on the sides, capacitive buttons right at the bottom and the brand logo above the display. The rest of the body is covered in white, and while it is made out of plastic, it feels a lot sturdier than other phones.

背面のカメラは、レンズがクローム色のリングに囲まれている点でHTC One Xを思い起こさせます。ちなみに8メガピクセルのカメラを搭載しており、まだ十分にテストはしていませんが、いくつか撮影してみたところ、期待を裏切らない結果でした。

LenovoのスキンはAndroid 4.2の上にありますが、まだ非常にカートゥーン風です。ただし、ランチャーを使用すれば簡単に対処できます。1GB RAM内蔵のCPUにより、S920は基本的なナビゲーションやタスクをスムーズにこなします。

I wish we had a little more time to spend with the Lenovo S920. In our short experience with it, we were very pleased with what it can offer.

Right now, it’s priced at around Php16,999 which may be quite hard to justify for some, but if you’re looking for something jam-packed in a thin yet solid form factor, you may want to consider the S920.
