Ung cherry rover ko IP67 ko pinasok ng water, malas kasi tapos n warranty period kaya umalsa n ung rubber sidings protection kaya pinasok ng tubig, buti n lang may back up akong cherry IP 67 U2 floating cp tested s pool and sea water including flood

Mas nalulubog ko pa sa salt water yung sony acro S ko kaysa sa xperia series na phone mas sealed kasi para sakin si Acro S and marami na dn akong beach na napuntahan at dive na gamit yun. Kailangan ko lang pag ahon e fresh water linisin xa.

I think up to 1 meter ang tama, hindi beyond 1 meter. 10 meters is beyond 1 meter and I guess di na safe ilubog pa yung mga phones na nasa list na ‘to.

I personally have an S4 Active and I can say it works really well. Di ko pa nalulubog mismo sa pool pero natapunan ko na ng tubig at okay pa naman. Nung napadaan ako sa Samsung Service Center sa Annex, tinanong ko kung pano warranty nila for devices marketed as waterproof/water-resistant. Sabi nila, as long as covered pa ng warranty and maprove na tubig lang nakadamage, irreplace na agad nila yung device. Hindi na nila i-aattempt na ayusin kasi baka di ma-retain yung water-resistance.

Correction lang po. Di po ito pwede sa Chlorinated at Salt water according mismo sa Sony, if ever na masira ung phone nyo dahil binabad nyo sa Salt water (Beach) or Chlorinated water (Most Pool) at nasira, void po ang warranty nyo. According to Sony Fresh Water lang sya Water Proof although sa warranty card nila nakalagay pwede rin sa Chlorinated water pero in the end di nila tinatanggap ung mga nasira sa Chlorinated water kya ingat po kayo. Try nyo mag search sa internet, marami nag rereklamo sa Sony about dyan. Kya nga hindi ko parin ibababad sa pool ang Z3 Compact ko kahit na IP68 ung rating nya.

Ganun ba yun?

Ginamit ko ang Xperia Z ko sa swimming pool (100% sure may chlorine), ilang beses na. At ginamit ko din sa Beach. Hindi naman nasira. 2 years na ang XZ ko. buti na lang, tuwing gagamitin ko siya sa pool at dagat, hinuhugasan ko siya with running water sa faucet. Kaya siguro ayos pa hanggang ngayon…

I agree sa comment mo, kasi na experience na namin ng wife ko yung sony experia z nya, nilubog nya sa dagat, pinasok ng tubig after a while, tapos nung dinala sa warranty void na daw. kasi hindi naman sinabi na salt water pwede. kaya sa mga technician nalang sa labas namin dinala.
