I bought mine last September 10 at Sony CDOC and the price is Php 33,490 (cash or credit card). Why the difference in price from other Sony shops?

just bought this device yesterday at Sony Store MOA branch. Price was P29,500 cash payment. sa Xperia Store nasa P30,990 ang cash payment nila, buti na lang tumingin pa ako sa Sony, almost P1,500 din ang difference, same package bundle kasama ang headset at Muvit Slim Folio Case.

THis is so fun but I am not really in favor of that 8 MP rear cam. its too small for a tall phone.. I’ll wait for the LTE and higher specs.

Php31,790 SRP, or Php33,490 at 0% interest for 6 months…

0% yeah right. “FALSE ADVERTISEMENT”

clearly PHP31,790 of PHP33,490 is 5.08% (AND NOT 0% FUCKERS)

That is PHP1701.29 for 6 months or PHP283.55 monthly.

DIDN’T know that mostly people doing bank advertisement today is 101% DUMB on mathematics.

Pretty awesome specs. But it will have a tough time as it is going to face competition from the Samsung Galaxy note 3.

As per Youtube hands-on/reviews from various users :

1. The stylus doesn’t work as advertised , may sporadic stuttering daw at hindi pressure-sensitive

2. The screen gets really really hot during gpu-intensive games

3. Weak, thin sound

4. Logic would suggest that a 3000 mAh battery is less than ideal to support that type of screen size + resolution + monster hardware

Let’s see kung anong pang-counter ng Note 3 dito

Are you sure about the LTE? I inquired witn sony rep in megamall, and they said that all Xperia Z Ultra that they will be selling are all LTE units. But of course, the Sony rep might be wrong too.

had a hands-on with it, it’s really a damn good, sexy piece of hardware.. but it’s freakin’ huge for my taste, it might have been better if they made it as a small tablet.

“The Sony Xperia Z Ultra HSPA+ version will be available… for Php31,790 SRP, or Php33,490 at 0% interest for 6 months.”

Sigh. Time and time again, you keep mentioning these fake “0%” interest prices. It’s not that complicated – if the sum of payments does not equal the original price, it’s not 0% interest – and raising the price and then stating “0%” is just deceptive marketing aimed at taking advantage of less financially-savvy consumers.

In this case, six payments totaling 33,490, with an original price of 31,790, equates to a 0.89% monthly add-on rate, or over 18% effective annual interest rate – hardly “0%”.

“…available… for Php31,790 SRP, or Php33,490 at 0% interest for 6 months.”

Sigh. If the sum of payments is greater than the retail price, it’s not 0% interest – and increasing the price and then saying 0% is just deceptive marketing hoping to take advantage of less financially-savvy consumers.

In this case, 33,490 paid over six months, when the retail price is 31,790, equates to a monthly add-on rate of 0.89%, or 18% effective annual interest rate – hardly “0%” interest.
