필리핀 정보통신기술부(DICT)는 현재 자체 첫 인공지능(AI) 모델을 개발 중입니다.

DICT는 곧 국가의 AI 도구가 될 필리핀 국산 AI(PNAI)를 개발 중입니다.

Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center (CICC) 부대행정부장관인 메리 로즈 마그사이야시 차관은 말라카냥에서 진행된 'Bagong Pilipinas Ngayon' 브리핑에서 "이번에 발표되는 필리핀 최초의 국가 AI 는 우리 문화에 기반을 두고 필리핀인들이 훈련하며, 필리핀의 모든 법률과 필리핀 정부의 모든 공문을 포함할 것"이라고 밝혔습니다.

그녀는 또한 "질문할 때 가짜 뉴스, 추측, 혹은 소문에 대한 답변을 받지 않으며, 대화할 때는 해당 방언으로 말해준다"고 덧붙였습니다.

DICT 는 2025 년 국가교서 연설 (SONA) 직전인 2025 년 7 월 28 일에 PNAI 를 출시할 계획입니다.
