3rd generation Moto E announced

Listen to article

It seems like Lenovo is inheriting Motorola the confusion it has with its mobile variants. The 3rd generation update to the budget Moto E smartphone, dubbed as Moto E3, has just been unveiled but it looks like a pretty familiar device.

The Moto E3 has a 5-inch 720p display and is powered by a quad-core processor but there’s no mention yet of which four core chipset and also RAM. Even the internal storage is a blur but it’s assured to have a microSD card slot. It’s got an 8MP rear shooter and a 5MP selfie camera. There’s a 2800mAh battery plus Android 6.0 Marshmallow onboard.

The specs and even the body has striking similarities with the other lower offering of Moto — the G4 Play. Except that Moto E3 has an additional slit on the front which could be for a stereo speaker. The inside will still have water repellent nano coating.

The phone is launching on September in UK for just £100 or roughly Php6,300 if coverted directly.
