A closer look at the Vivo V15 Pro’s cameras

The Vivo V15 Pro is one of the most exciting smartphones right now. For a mid-range device, it has a nice design, powerful specs, a large immersive screen, an In-Display fingerprint scanner, and above average battery capacity. But what makes it more interesting are the four cameras, so we’re going to take a closer look to see what advantage it has over other smartphones in the market.

32MP Elevating Selfie Camera

We’ve mentioned earlier that the V15 Pro has a large immersive Ultra FullView Display that doesn’t have a notch. That was made possible thanks to the Elevating Selfie Camera that uses a micro-stepping motor housed within the phone’s body. Given this special mechanism, it allows the device to hide the front camera in the body when it is not in use. And when it is time to unlock the device or take a selfie, the camera will fully elevate in just 0.46 seconds. If you’re concerned about its durability, Vivo added design enhancements to the mechanism so it can withstand strong tensile and torsional forces and able to elevate over 300,000 times without a glitch.

48MP Quad Pixel Sensor

The V15 Pro’s main camera boasts a 1/2.25-inch sensor, a wide f/1.8 aperture, and 48 million physical pixels each 0.8?m large. What this means is that you’re getting images that have plenty of details but can still perform in low-light. And to further improve the photo-sensitivity and picture quality, the V15 Pro uses a “four-in-one pixel” technology to combine four adjacent pixels into a single 1.6?m large pixel. The result is an image that is a clearer 12MP night shot.

8MP AI Super Wide-Angle Camera

Nowadays, having one high-resolution camera is not enough as some scenarios like landscapes and group photos are better captured with a wider perspective. Good thing the V15 Pro has an 8MP Super Wide-Angle Camera with F2.2 aperture that can expand the view at up to 120-degrees. It’s also assisted by an AI to make sure that shots are clear, clean, and distortion-free.

5MP Depth Camera

Want to capture that portrahttps://www.yugatech.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/v15pro_selfie_yuga5.pngit shot with a creamy bokeh? If yes, then you need to get a phone with a depth camera. In the case of the V15 Pro, it has a 5MP Depth Camera with F2.4 aperture. And with the help of AI, you can finally achieve that shot.
