Apple recently purchased and acquired Shazam, a company that developed a music app carrying the same name. The acquisition was actually announced last year around December. Although, it became official with this report.
Shazam is an application that identifies song titles just by hearing to bits and fragments of any songs. It can be used by users to discover and share the music with other people.
Shazam will also be ad-free for all users soon, said Apple. You can download the app on the Google PlayStore or Apple store below.
