ASUS Zenfone 3 family to be released in Taiwan on July 12

Good news Zenfone fans! ASUS has finally unveiled the first release date of their upcoming Zenfone 3 smartphones and it’s just less than two weeks away.

All three of the Zenfone 3 family — Zenfone 3, Zenfone 3 Ultra, Zenfone 3 Deluxe — will be available to the public on July 12 in Taiwan. That’s the official release date according to Taiwanese website ePrice. While PH customers will have to wait until August for the local release as revealed by ASUS’ CEO, Jerry Shen.

Pricing of the Zenfone 3 starts at $249PHP 14,613INR 21,103EUR 237CNY 1,812, while the more premium Zenfone 3 Ultra and Zenfone 3 Deluxe is significantly pricier starting at $479PHP 28,110INR 40,595EUR 456CNY 3,486 and $499PHP 29,284INR 42,290EUR 475CNY 3,632 respectively. Taiwan is the ASUS’ home turf and it’s understandable that they get first dibs of the much awaited Zenfone 3. Anyhow, August is not far July but for those who are already itching to have their hands on the new smartphone, expect online stores and grey market sellers to ship it earlier than the local official release.
