ASUS Zenfone 3 Zoom now receiving Android 7.1.1 Nougat

The Zenfone 3 Zoom launched with Android Marshmallow out of the box, but users can now update their devices as ASUS has started rolling out Android 7.1.1 Nougat.

According to ZenTalk, the update brings improved performance and picture taking experience, as well as bug fixes. Android Police though, has obtained a better changelog:

Yugatech 728x90 Reno7 Series

• Android N
• RAW file capture support
• Portrait Mode as one of the camera modes, uses both cameras to sense depth and blur the background
• Google Now and Google Assistant built-in to ZenUI launcher
• No more Mobile Manager, Auto-Start Manager, and Splendid notifications
• Removed all third party apps for the leanest ZenUI ever
• The top row of Quick Settings icons was previously locked to pre-selected options. Users can now put any quick setting

Android Police also mentioned that the update is about 1.1GB in size. To check for the update, go to Settings -> About -> System Update.
