ASUS Zenfone Live First Impressions

Listen to article

ASUS has officially launch in the country one of their latest smartphones alongside the Zenfone 3 Zoom, the Zenfone Live. Check out our initial thoughts below.

The ZenFone Live is basically a mid-ranger with a 5-inch HD display. Above it is the earpiece and the 5MP front camera with 1.4µm sensor pixels and a soft light LED selfie flash. Down below are three capacitive buttons for navigation.

On the right are the volume rocker and the power/lock button. On the left is the hybrid SIM tray.

Up top are the headset port and a microphone, while down below are the loudspeaker, microUSB port, and main microphone.

Flip it on its back and you’ll see the 13MP main shooter and LED flash.

The Zenfone Live looks premium with its metallic finish but it’s mostly polycarbonate. Still, it feels solid and light enough to comfortably hold when taking selfies or doing handheld live broadcasts, which the device is designed for.

The device runs Android Marshmallow with ZenUI. It has a BeautyLive feature which applies Beautify effects while you’re doing a livestream. It can also connect to your favorite live-streaming platforms like YouTube, Instagram, or Facebook. Audio, on the other hand, is handled by dual MEMS microphones to help eliminate background noise and enhance voice pickup.

overpriced. redeeming point nito ay kung i-update ito ng asus to android N 7.1.2 at android O.

yung snapdragon 410-powered cherry mobile android one G1 ay may kaparehong specs, presyong 5999php taong 2015, at upgradeable to android 7.1.1 (april 5, 2017 security update). kaya lang out of stock na ito at no restocking.
