Just bought a Zenphone 5 two days ago. It’s already Kitkat out of the box. AS in literally when turning on the first time Kitkat na ka agad. LOL

i think if i’m not mistaken, nag support na ng USB-OTG ang Zenfone 4 ko out of the box, but I will update of course, the nice thing about buying a reputable branded low-cost handset is the support you get like this. I’m talking to you local PH handset brands na patapon…

Regarding the update for zenfone 4. Can I update it using the phone itself? If I will be using the OTG ccable where or how can I update my asus phone?

Pwede ka nang mag-OTA updates. Para less hassle on cables. :)

@Zobel: Actually, Cherry Mobile has a decent counterpunch to the Zenfone 5. It’s the Cherry a Mobile Pulse. It is priced similarly and has an Octa-core chip but has less ram. The rest of the specs are quite similar.

Which phone is better is a subjective issue. But I have tried both and they pretty much are equals. Advantage lng sa Asus iyung Regular software updates, but Cherry Mobile does have OTA updates (though infrequent) and is KitKat out of the box, whereas the Zenfone’s KitKat update is still in the future.

You mean, ang isa sa maraming advantage ng ASUS over Cherry ang regular updates. You haven’t listed the great quality, which is carried over from their expertise from building great products like notebooks, monitors, motherboards, and etc.

Medyo tahimik yata CM the last few days. Nagpaplano sigurong maglabas ng matinong model else lalamunin sila ni asus.
