Attention Flare S3 owners! Cherry Mobile has announced through its Facebook page that it has started seeding the Lollipop update to two Flare S3 variants — the Octa and the Power.
UPDATE: A lot of users are reporting a common error after updating.
If you own a Cherry Mobile Flare S3 Octa or Flare S3 Power, you can download the update through the settings panel. Just download and install since this is an over-the-air or OTA update. No manual installation needed. Although, Cherry mentioned that rooted or modded devices won’t receive the update.

Help po, i upgraded my flare s3 power and diko siya like gusto ko siya bumalik sa dati huhu, humina yung data ko and ang hirap diko gamay yung bagong update :( pahelp po pls.
nag update po ako.. tapos nung nag installing na biglang umitim ang screen.. hanggang ngaun d ko na maopen.. what should i do??

Kakabili ko lang ng Flare S3 Power pero laging “needs background data” pag nagda-download ng app. Sabi ng help[ page, baguhin ko raw sa settings pero wala naman “autosync,” ang meron lang “network restrictions.” Madalas din na “Google Play Store has stopped.” Ano kaya ang problema?
updated na po ang fs3 power q.. kanina lng.. kailangan lng tyaga kasi malaki ang size.. at wag pindot ng pindot kasi mag eerror yan. pabayaan nyo lng. tnx
naka ilang oras k po ng pag update?
Wala din akong narereceive na wireless update pero hindi naman nakaroot phone ko :(
the same din sa akin ang sinabi dito i-update ko akin para mas mabilis yung performance pati yung Hotknot na di ko alam
Di naman ako nag root or kung anong ngngwa d2 sa fs3 power ko.. pero wla akong narecieve na update… uwahhhh ano ngyre T^T
hello po inupdate ko po yung flare s3 octa ko nung Feb.18 nun gabi then nung nadownload ko na po , yun po nag uupdate tapos pagkatapos po naging white and black nalang po yung screen until now , paano po ba mabalik sa dati yun . Pupunta pa po ba ako sa cherry mobile service center or ipapareformat ko nalang.

I updated my Flare S3 to Lollipop, It had issues after updating but fixed by Resetting to factory settings for Lollipop version(Yup Lollipop, it didn’t revert back to old OS version). :)

Inupdate ko po ngayon yung flare s3 octa ko gamit yung wireless update. Pero yung zip file po na na dl ko eh hindi po pwede tatlong beses ko po inulit ulit na idownload pero the same problem po 443mb yung file. All the time na pindutin ko yung update now tapos biglang may mag pop up na message “error zip file” tapos pag inextract ko naman yung zipfile eh “cannot open the nested zip like file” tapos pag inextract ko naman sa pc “broken files” naman, sa tingin ko may mali dun sa update ng cherry mobile para sa flare s3 octa sana maayos nila. Tanong ko lang may naka encounter din ba sainyo please reply. Excited na kasi ako sa lolipop version eh. Kainis lang kasi may error yung zip file nung update.
After nung update, hindi na nagde-detect ang front camera ko
yung saken kase dina mabuksan yung wifi pati bluetooth bat kaya ganon ?
