Facebook tests out Instant Videos feature

Facebook is testing out a new feature called Instant Videos wherein you can watch videos without using your mobile data.

The said feature was first shared by The Next Web’s Matt Navarra’s twitter account (screenshot above) and was later confirmed by TechCrunch. Facebook told TechCrunch that the Instant Video test is available to a small percentage of Android users, and that the goal is to remove data costs when watching videos.

However, there’s no announcement yet if this feature will roll out to all Android or iOS smartphones anytime soon.
