HMD Global has introduced the HMD Skyline to the Philippine market, following its global debut last July. Priced competitively at PHP 24,990 (~$437) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant, the device offers an even lower price of PHP 22,990 (~$402) during a limited-time sale on Shopee 58, Lazada 53, and TikTok Shop.
This pricing is notably lower compared to its European price of €599 (~$659 or PHP 37,650). The HMD Skyline is available in Neon Pink and Twisted Black.
A quick overview of the HMD Skyline, it is designed with a focus on sustainability and repairability. HMD Global has made the device almost entirely modular, allowing users to easily replace parts like the battery, screen, or back cover.
The phone also features a customizable side button for quick access to favorite apps.
On the performance side, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor and comes with a 120Hz OLED display.
The device also supports 33-watt wired charging and 15-watt Qi2 wireless charging, offering a new standard in magnetic alignment similar to Apple’s MagSafe.
