HTC Exodus – the World’s First Native Blockchain Phone

HTC has introduced a new smartphone project called Exodus that is powered by Blockchain technology.

The HTC Exodus is touted as the world’s first phone dedicated to decentralized applications and security. According to HTC’s Decentralized Chief Officer Phil Chen, Exodus is “the first native blockchain phone dedicated to bringing end consumers the best decentralized application (DApp) experiences, including a built-in secure hardware enclave, and helping underlying protocols expand their base of dedicated nodes, thus expanding the total blockchain ecosystem.”

The Exodus will also be able to support underlying protocols such as Bitcoin, Lightning Networks, Ethereum, Dfinity, and more. HTC plans to support the entire blockchain ecosystem and will be announcing more partnerships.

“I want to see a world where the end consumers can truly own their data (browsing history, identity, assets, wallets, emails, messaging, etc) without the need for central authorities,” said Chen.

The pricing and availability of the Exodus are the yet to be announced but those interested may make a reservation on their website. See the source link below:
