HTC HD7 announced — like HD2 on Win 7

HTC’s newest Windows Phone 7 is aptly called the HTC HD7 and has almost the same look and form factor as its predecessor, the HTC HD2.

Initially released for T-Mobile, it should be out in the market before end of November this year.

HTC HD7 specs:
4.3″ display @ 480×800 pixels
Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8250 1 GHz processor
576MB RAM
8GB & 16GB internal storage
Bluetooth 2.1 w/ A2DP
802.11 b/g/n
HSDPA, HSUPA
5MP camera w/ 720p video recording
GPS w/ aGPS support
Motion G-sensor
Proximity Sensor
Ambient Light Sensor
Li-Ion 1230 mAh
Windows Phone OS 7

And that kick-stand at the back is just classic. No pricing details yet but if history will repeat itself, there’s a possibility it will follow the pricing of the HD2 at the Php49k level. Hopefully though, HTC rationalizes it and brings it down to under Php40k.

  1. Still pricey. And we still have to see how good Win Phone 7 would be

  2. too pricey. I’m sure samsung and LG will bring it’s Windows7 Phones to us,like maybe the Focus or otherwise. Microsoft gave minimum hardware requirements anyway so these devices would be more or less similar. I will be getting that instead of this overpriced HTC. Am presently on android(HTC Nexus One) but i wanna give this OS a try, especially for the Xbox live integration and games.

  3. i’m a fan of HD2 when it was first introduced, i still don’t have one though because of its steep price… this one with Win7 OS.!? omg… this will definitely an iPhone4 killer… thinking of so many things you can do with windows… still pricey though… but after a year HD2 was released i think they’re selling it for Php32k…

  4. such a big phone(takaw nakaw!)
I am waiting for the HTC Mozart to hit our shores!

  5. Omg! Windows 7 OS?..
Smart Phone paba yan or Pocketbook na

  6. I just hope it can match Cherry Mobile’s phone. I just don’t understand why people keeps on buying these cheap products, when we already have our own Pinoy phone, the Cherry Mobile, which is far superior compared to these products from unheard company. Cherry Mobile rule!!!!!!!!

  7. @ Sir Greg
Pardon me sir..but..What is Cherry Mobile?

  8. Sir Yuga, Do you think HD2’s price will drop significantly after the release of the HD7? I’m preparing for the right time to get HD2 a cheaper price!

  9. pakiramdam ko i will switching to WP7 from android just for the great AAA gaming support. Sir Yuga or anyone in the know, yung windows marketplace and xbox live marketplace for paid apps, magiging available ba sa atin dito sa pinas? or may workaround ba like Marketenabler ng Android?

  10. the dell lightning phone looks pretty amazing too! im hoping that there’s some chance that dell could offer their phones in their concept stores here sometime soon!

  11. ganda neto sa youtube. parang mas ok kesa sa iphone 4 since dami prob ng iphone and bago rin yung os. boring na kasi mga old os

  12. this is much much better than iphone4, at least i doesn’t require a micro sim… nice specs too..is it already available here???

  13. any word on the availability of this phone here or other Windows phone 7 devices? greenhills, etc?

  14. i saw the price of HD2 in Wellcom and its only around 28k, probably mas bababa pa kapag dumating na HD7.

  15. this is okay, but I still like HD2…

I am looking for HD2… pero wala na ko makita… according to HTC di na sila magpaparating… so sad!!! Hanap nlang daw ako sa market baka meron pang available pa… anyone here na meron pang alam na store na available pa HD2?

  16. Hi guys! for those of you looking for HTC HD2, please contact me coz I might just be of help :).
