HTC Incredible S spotted, priced!

We don’t know why HTC did not officially released the Incredible S in the Philippines but we’ve spotted one today selling at one store in MOA at Php24,900.

The HTC Incredible S actually came out earlier than the HTC Sensation and should have been released in the Philippines along with the Wildfire S.

My guess is that the handset would not fit into a good pricing position between the HTC Desire S and the HTC Sensation and considering the Desire HD is still selling at a much lower price, HTC Philippines might find it hard to position and sell the Incredible S.

HTC Incredible S specs:
4″ display @ 480×800 pixels
1.0 GHz Scorpion processor
Adreno 205 GPU
Qualcomm MSM8255 Snapdragon
1.1GB ROM, 768 MB RAM
up to 32GB via microSD
HSDPA 14.4Mbps, HSUPA 5.76Mbps
8MP autofocus camera with dual-LED flash
720p video recording
1.3MP front-facing camera
Radio FM tuner w/ RDS
GPS w/ aGPS support
Android 2.2 Froyo
Li-Ion 1450 mAh battery

I think it was Mega Exchange in MOA where I saw this one earlier today. The price — Php24,900. The HTC Sensation is still a good buy at Php27,800.

  1. Do you happen to see if they sell accessories for it? like casing, carry cases, pouch or maybe screen protector?

  2. I hope the Incredible S isn’t plague with problems like the Sensation.

    • I’ve owned the incredible s since February and not once did it give me a headache maybe except for the washed up pictures when it was in Froyo but was fixed when updated to gingerbread. No hangups, restarts, or anything. It’s pretty fast for a single core smartphone especially after upgrading to gingerbread. I was thinking to get the sensation but having the incredible S always makes me think twice because it’s a pretty efficient phone.

    • And also the S-LCD is quite bright. I had the HTC HD2 before this phone and the screen brightness and color is really noticeable when the two is side by side. I also like the form factor. I had to use two thumbs when texting in my HD2, but was able to use one hand in the incredible S. It also fits perfectly in my jeans.

    • Is it? What sort of problems does the sensation have? To bad if its true…

  3. price should be less than 20k….

yung SE arc kelan ba magmumura?. halos kapresyo na nya mga dual-core phones e.

  4. Didn’t GSMArena mention the embarrassing naming convention of this phone?

(Hint: Say the Incredible S out loud.)

  5. Saw this phone selling at Vmall (cellphone tiangge area) 2 weeks ago. Selling for 22-24k

  6. I hope the Incredible S isn’t plagu

  7. Got a question please, I’m thinking of getting an HTC Sensation or an HTC Incredible S. I know spec wise the Sensation will win, but the Incredible S seems to be a solid phone with a cheaper price. Which phone is better in the long run? Thanks in advance!

  8. Mahal naman, kasing presyo na ng Desktop Computer….

  9. do htc incredible s owners in the philippines encounter problems if the unit was bought from SG/HK/or any other country?
