Huawei has filed a patent with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). The patent indicates a foldable smartphone form, similar to the brand’s Mate X, launched in 2019.
According to a report by 91Mobiles, the new patent filed with the EUIPO seems to be the Mate X2. The design shows a smartphone that folds inwards. It also displays six cameras; two of them are located on a vertical sidebar, while four of them are placed at the back. From the images, the sidebar will also seemingly house the stylus.
The patent did not indicate any other information about the handset. Although, it’s being reported that Huawei may introduce their new foldable smartphone at MWC 2020 in Barcelona. Stay tuned.
