HUAWEI might be gearing up for another foldable under the Pura series, and this time, it’s reportedly wider than the already bold Pura X. According to a tipster on Weibo, the upcoming foldable will feature an 8-inch display, retaining the compact form factor but with subtle design tweaks.

The Pura X, launched earlier this year with a 6.3-inch widescreen and a striking rear cover display, introduced a fresh foldable format. Now, Huawei seems to be expanding on that momentum, literally.
It’s unclear whether the new device will be positioned as a smartphone or more of a tablet-style foldable, but it’s expected to run HarmonyOS 5.0 and build on the Pura lineup’s sleek aesthetics.
Meanwhile, the same source hinted at a multi-spectral camera sensor being tested for future Huawei phones, possibly debuting with the Pura 90 series or later.
With 2025 shaping up as a big year, HUAWEI clearly isn’t slowing down.
