For display, the Mate 30 has a better viewing experience thanks to its massive screen size; however, the Galaxy Note 10 has Gorilla Glass6 to protect it from minor bumps and scratches.

Performance-wise, the Mate 30 has a higher clock speed than the Galaxy Note 10, but this doesn’t mean that the former is better overall. We’ve yet to know how they fared, but we’ll be updating this article once we find our their benchmark scores. Stay tuned for that.

The regular Mate 30 has a triple camera setup, which is on equal grounds with the Galaxy Note 10 having the same configuration. The main difference is that the former can zoom in more than the latter, while its primary lens has a higher resolution. Do note that the number of megapixels doesn’t automatically equate to having a better photo quality.

In terms of features, the Mate 30 comes with EMUI 10 based on Android 10. As for the Galaxy Note 10, it has the S-Pen which is its primary weapon along with a better audio quality thanks to the AKG Stereo Speakers, as well as, better water and dust resistance.

Last, but not the least, the Mate 30 carries a larger battery capacity with faster charging rate. However, this does not mean that it automatically wins in terms of battery life battle. We’ve yet to know how long the former performs in our battery benchmark test so stay tuned for that.

Here are the prices of each smartphone:

Based on the price difference, better viewing experience, battery, and camera setup, the Mate 30 is your choice. However, if you are more into screen protection, the S-Pen and its features, and better water and dust resistance, the Galaxy Note 10 is your best bet.
