Huawei confirmed the launch of their next tri-fold, the HUAWEI Mate XTs, on September 4 through a Weibo post. The device will succeed last year’s Mate XT, and the unveiling will be held in China at 2:30 PM.

A teaser showed Huawei Consumer Business Group CEO Richard Yu with the device in white and gold accents. The image also confirms that it has stylus support, while also appearing similar in size to its predecessor.
Reports have also suggested that the device will be powered by a Kirin 9020 with satellite connectivity. Other expected specs include a 50MP main camera with variable aperture and an upgraded telephoto camera.
Meanwhile, the display and battery specs have been suggested to remain unchanged. As for pricing, it’s slated to match last year’s Mate XT at CNY 20,000 (~PHP 160K).

For reference, the HUAWEI Mate XT had a pre-order price of PHP 199,999 in the Philippines. We’ll have to wait for the launch event to gather more details on the HUAWEI Mate XTs.
