ASUS has launched its third generation ZenFone lineup last May at Computex 2016 event in Taiwan. It is definitely a major upgrade from the previous ZenFone 2, thanks to itsĀ full metal body design, 2.5D curved glass and industry-leading specs. There were actually three ZenFone 3 handsetsĀ ā the standard Zenfone 3, the high-end Zenfone 3 Deluxe and the phablet-type Zenfone 3 Ultra. You can check our detailed specs comparison here. Ā Nevertheless, allĀ these configurations are made of metal covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 and a 2.5 curved glass for the front panel.
In this infographic, we will beĀ taking a closer look at how things have changed in terms of design since the first ever release of ZenFone way back in the year 2014.

Plenty has changed in ASUS ZenFone design for the last two years. It is now composed ofĀ premium build materials, a seamless full-metal unibody phone with an invisible antenna design. ASUS really did a great job with its design department,Ā the phone does away with the plastic that made last yearās Zenfone 2.Ā Itās clearly a complete turnaround on the design compare toĀ its predecessors, obviously thatās a good thing.
Do you think itās a good-looking phone? Ā Tell us more about your favorite design component of the ASUS ZenFone 3 in the comment section below.

I wonder how they would name the 4th, 5th and 6th gen, since they used it to name the 1st gen series. Maybe they never thought the first ZF line will take off as it did but anyways Asus does an odd job naming their product line. Still lovin my ZF2

Maybe ASUS will skip from 4th to 6th Gen in order to release 7th Gen or maybe 8th Gen in order to compete with Samsung and Apple. :D
