MyPhone has revealed their new smartphone that sports a 4.5-inch display, quad-core CPU, LTE connectivity, Android KitKat, and an affordable price tag of Php6,499 – the MyPhone Rio LTE.

Aanhin ba ng mga budget smartphone users ang Lte? Para mabilis ang facebook zero? O magloload sila ng 50 per day para makapanood ng 1 streaming na pelikula? Ilan sa inyo may consistent LTE signal sa loob ng bahay nyo? Sa SM minsan lumitaw LTE icon sa CP ko, sinubukan ko mag surf ayaw bumukas ng page, nung maging hspa+ tsaka lang nakapag facebook.

Sus LTE nga ang dami namang setback, tignan mo naman yung battery at resolution ng screen. The LTE here is not even that good.

after the release of the original rio (not including the first batch) myphone is on a roll on releasing phones if not overpriced eh puro basura na.. hahahahays.. wala nang bang for the buck puro u get wat u pay for and less..
Yung CM octas puro OP, yung F3 puro lemons, pero kudos dhil sa Omega icon :)
sus ginoo!!!! magfocus kayo sa camera,1gb ram at quadcore wag LTE na yan kahit HSPA+ lang ok na para sakin , hindi pa kasi lahat ng lugar may LTE, baba pa ng battery suckS!!

what a letdown from myphone. akala siguro nila kakagatin ng tao kasi LTE. you should pair LTE with good specs like battery and RAM, fools.

Interesting dahil mas maliit ang screen kesa sa naunang Rio (4.5″ vs 5″) at mas mababang resolution (218 vs 294ppi). Mas mababa din ang rear cam. Parang lugi ka dito sa specs maliban dun sa LTE nya. Mas maigi pa rin yung naunang RIO. Saka walang consistency ang MyPhone sa mga phone branding nila. Basta lang mapangalanan.

It’s nice to see a competitive local branded phone like MyPhone but I don’t think I will be enticed with the LTE version. LTE visibility is not something that our country is “fully” ready as of the moment. Probably in the coming years we will be. And by that time, there will be a new phone.
