MyPhone fixes Apps2SD woes of MP Rio

MyPhone has recently released an over-the-air software update for the MyPhone Rio which, above anything else, addresses one of the more glaring concerns that consumers have with the budget handset; installing applications to external micro-SD card.

According to the local company, the software update will also “Put the System Update function on the Main Menu”, as well as remove some of the bloatwares like the PinoyPhone app.

To update your handset, navigate your way to Settings > About Phone > System Updates and select “Download and Install”.

Just so you know, there are two versions of MyPhone Agua Rio, the laggish v1.11 and the almost perfect and very smooth v1.06
The update is for v1.11 only and becomes v1.15 after the update. The lag is reduced a bit but i fail to see its improvement so i consider it as a placebo effect.

v1.06 will also rcv its update soon.
